About IDWBD

IDWBD is a program designed to showcase the success and developments of South Asians in creative industries. From Grammy award winning Producers, Record Executives, Comedians, or Directors and a wide variety of “creatives” IDWBD aims to create a platform to inspire, empower, and encourage our community to pursue their artistic passions in a sustainable way.

Through our documentary style web series audiences gain a unique insight to the day to day lives of these walking success stories as they narrate their journey, challenges, and offer insight on how they got to be where they are. Each episode displays a one of a kind view into the lives of those who have overcome stereotypes, challenges, and cultural hurdles to make a living doing what they love.

Wise Words

And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.

The events, which target collegiates and young professionals, will incorporate a pre reception, a moderated and dynamic speaking session from panel speakers, a q&a, and post panel mixers where attendees can network with our speakers all in a creative, collaborative, and inspiring atmosphere.
